Hi, nice to virtually meet you! My name is Sienna, and I'm a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor based out of Radium Hot Springs, BC. I am a mom to two daughters and I started my own breastfeeding journey in 2023.
Like most first-time moms, I struggled with awkward latching and positioning, painful engorgement, and for about a month had vasospasm (think brain freeze on your nipple... the kind of pain that made me cry and brace for impact every breastfeeding session). Despite all this and my lack of preparation, I truly loved breastfeeding and the connection it gave us. Facing the many uncertainties of motherhood, it made me feel competent and in awe of what my body can do.
I breastfed my toddler into my second pregnancy where I faced more of a mental struggle. For a while we found our balance, and I was able to set boundaries on when and for how long I could nurse my toddler. I wasn't ready to stop yet but my body was reaching the end of its rope. I weaned her before I gave birth to my second. Now I am breastfeeding again.
Long story short, I am so hopeful that I can help you reach YOUR goals, no matter what they might be. Any breastmilk your baby gets is a gift and sacrifice, and whenever you wean I want to help you navigate that as well. Pregnancy and postpartum can be full of turmoil and indescribable joy; I just hope to help you keep your bliss.

1:1 Support Visit
60 minute in-person or virtual call to discuss breastfeeding goals and troubleshooting. Pre or postpartum with visit notes and plan emailed in a PDF. Text follow ups included for one week, and you can securely send pictures and videos as needed.

Text Support
7 days of text support including sending videos and pictures. Intake form and health history and all your feeding questions answered as they come up! Text me anytime and I will do my best to answer as quick as possible so we avoid those "panic googling" sessions.

The Total Package
30 minute prenatal visit, in person or virtual, followed by 1 hour consultation postpartum to answer any feeding questions and troubleshoot problems. 7 day follow up texting included as well as PDF notes for reference.

Group Support
Prenatal group support - 1 hour meeting in Radium Hot Springs, BC or done in a virtual group setting. We cover general breastfeeding knowledge and allot plenty of time for any questions you may have. Included is a printed package for your reference and a discount for future support you may require.

In pregnancy, as mothers we are concerned about our own wellbeing and conscious of taking care of ourselves. Then a baby comes and our world is totally turned around again - our concerns and comfort are pushed to the back burner. While we happily sacrifice for our children, the truth is that just won't work with breastfeeding. For everything to function optimally, you need to be comfortable as well and find a sustainable feeding plan.
Education during pregnancy on breastfeeding can improve outcomes and help you prepare for optimal infant feeding which includes YOUR comfort.
A 3 am feeding is not when you want to be googling "what to do if baby won't latch" as you're holding your precious baby and feeling alone. With my support, I want you to be able to confidently face the toughest moments, make yourself comfortable, and advocate for your needs as well as making sure your baby is well fed.
In addition to prenatal calls, group classes are a great option where we can discuss any concerns or questions in a safe environment with other parents. Contact me to discuss which support option is best for you!
